Association Of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Edo State Chapter Commiserates with the Crowned Prince of Benin Kingdom, Crown Prince Ehenede, the Edaiken N’ Uselu of Benin Kingdom, Indigenes of Benin Kingdom and friends of Benin Monarch, on the transition of Our Iconic father, a Mother-Hen, His Royal Majesty Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo, Uku Akpolokpolor, Oba Erediauwa, the Monarch of Benin Kingdom, who is the Association’s Grand Patron.
The State Chairman, Goodluck Osama Ogbeide ( A renowned Author) described the transition of The Association’s Grand Patron (His Royal Majesty), as an irreparable loss to all and sundry. He further added that those who have encountered him will never have the memory off them. He further said he will never forget to recall again and again one of his encounter with him, two years ago when the Executives of the Association paid his Royal Majesty a courtesy visit.
He however described His Royal Majesty as One of the most remarkable Monarch in the world, whose reign brought peace and tranquility to the entire Benin Kingdom. He also described His Royal Majesty as a Prolific Writer, who loves to encourage literature at all cost.
According to him, as the Grand Patron, His Royal Majesty played all vital roles to encourage ‘ANA’ the acronym of the Association, as well as admonishes some other Palace Chiefs, who were also authors, in the likes of Chief Osemwengie Ero, Chief Ikegua and others, to assist the Association in her day to day activities, which is geared towards Nurturing Creativity in the Society.
According to him, it is his prayer that the Almighty God grant His Royal Majesty eternal rest and prays for God to give the Royal Family to bear the irreparable
